6/20/10 - George has moved to NY! Have the registration and temp inspection and of course plates. Awaiting Title and have to get a full state inspection this week. Car is off to Formula H for that soon and to check on an overheating issue. Runs cool and fine at speed but temp creeps up while sitting, hopefully it's not anything too expensive!!!

I don't think restorations are ever really "done" but at this moment the car is road legal. It's taken a number of years and at this time, untold amount of dollars... at some point I will add up all the receipts and probably give myself a heartattack!

And a special dedication goes the person we purchased the car from, who passed away in 2002. Brad Hutchins Jr was killed in an ATV accident at a much too young age. The Prelude was his first car back in 96/97 and it was a gift from a relative, providing he could put in the time to make it run, which he did.

I learned this story upon stopping in at the house where we bought the car... my intention was to visit Brad and show him how well the restoration turned out.

I was hoping the family would not think me too much of a nut but I knocked on their door anyway and mentioned that we had bought the car from them back in 1997. His mom immediately recognized the car and I had a nice talk with the family.
